Files stay on your device
We do not upload your PDF contents, file names, passwords, or signatures to our servers.
Privacy, explained clearly
PDFGo processes your PDF documents on your Android device. This policy explains what stays local, what limited technical data may be processed by third-party services, and the choices available to you.
We do not upload your PDF contents, file names, passwords, or signatures to our servers.
PDFGo does not require account registration and does not provide cloud document storage.
Ads, Google Play purchases, configuration, and optional diagnostics use Google services described below.
This Privacy Policy applies to the PDFGo Android application, package name
com.github.xiaofeidev.pdfgo, and to this privacy-policy page. PDFGo is
provided by xiaofeidev ("PDFGo," "we," "us," or "our").
This policy describes how PDFGo accesses, uses, stores, and shares information. It also describes data that may be processed by third-party SDKs included in the app. It does not govern another app or service that you choose to use or share a file with.
PDFGo uses Android's system file picker and sharing features to access files only when you select, open, or share them with PDFGo. To perform an operation, PDFGo may copy an input file into the app's private workspace on your device.
PDF documents, images selected for conversion, output file names, PDF passwords, and visual signature images are processed locally. PDFGo does not send this content to xiaofeidev, advertising providers, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Firebase Remote Config. PDF passwords are used only for the requested operation and are not intentionally retained after that operation.
PDFGo integrates the Google services listed below. These services may process limited device, app, purchase, advertising, consent, or diagnostic data under their own terms and privacy policies. They do not receive your PDF contents from PDFGo.
The free version of PDFGo displays advertising using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. According to Google's SDK disclosure, the SDK may automatically collect and share:
Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's policies. Purchasing PDFGo Pro removes advertising from the app.
PDFGo includes Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to support consent messages and privacy choices where required. When the consent flow is enabled and applicable, UMP may process and store your consent status and related technical information so that eligible advertising requests respect that choice.
PDFGo may use Firebase Remote Config to retrieve operational settings such as ad frequency limits. Firebase may process an app installation identifier and technical request information needed to provide this configuration. Remote Config is not used to upload or inspect your documents.
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are included in PDFGo, but their collection is configured off by default. If a PDFGo version presents a diagnostics choice and you enable it, these services may process app interaction events, device and app information, crash stack traces, relevant application state, performance data, and installation identifiers. PDFGo does not attach document contents, PDF passwords, signature images, file names, email addresses, or a developer-defined user ID to these reports.
PDFGo Pro purchases are processed by Google Play. PDFGo may receive product details, purchase status, a purchase token, and entitlement information needed to complete or restore a purchase. PDFGo does not receive your full payment-card details. Google handles payment information under its own privacy policy and payment terms.
PDFGo does not offer account creation, so there is no PDFGo cloud account to delete. To remove local PDFGo data, delete saved files and templates as needed, then clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. For questions about information that may have been processed by xiaofeidev, contact us using the address below.
PDFGo limits document processing to your device, uses app-private storage for working files, and relies on Android's permission and file-provider controls. Google states that Google Mobile Ads data is encrypted in transit, and Firebase and Google Play provide their own security controls. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so keep your device updated and protect it with an appropriate screen lock.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request information about, object to, restrict, or request deletion of personal data. Because PDFGo has no user accounts and does not upload your documents to xiaofeidev, most PDFGo content is controlled directly on your device. You may contact us to make a privacy request concerning any information held by us.
PDFGo is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Google and its service providers may process advertising, configuration, diagnostic, or purchase-related information in countries other than the country where you live. Those transfers are governed by Google's terms, privacy policy, and applicable safeguards. Your PDF document content remains on your device unless you choose to share or save it to a third-party service.
We may update this Privacy Policy when PDFGo's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
